SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business", is America's premier source of free small business advice for entrepreneurs. SCORE is a volunteer, non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the success of small business. SCORE counselors provide free and confidential business counseling to both prospective entrepreneurs and existing small business owners throughout the Louisville metropolitan area.
We also conduct a variety of low-cost workshops that address many of the essential techniques necessary for establishing and managing a successful business. SCORE Louisville is a resource partner of the Small Business Administration. We're small business experts and have been helping people fulfill their dreams since 1964. Our chapter is part of an organization of over 11,500 volunteers and 389 chapters nationwide. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors.
SCORE Louisville is fortunate to have a group of local business and civic leaders who serve on our Advisory Board. These individuals meet regularly with the chapter executive committee to discuss issues dealing with SCORE’s role in our community. Board members are:
